In this two-day workshop, we create aesthetically beautiful suspensions through detailed demos, focusing on quality of base ties, suspension line work, and body control.
The structure of the demos allows taking individual skill levels into account.
Skill requirements:
The workshop offers most for those who tie regularly and already have confidence in floor-based tying and have routine in basic techniques (single column tie/double column tie, counter tension, X-friction). Being able to tie a TK and having a foundational understanding of suspension techniques is beneficial. If you’re unsure about your level, feel free to contact me for an assessment.
All necessary ties will be taught during the workshop, but you can enhance your skills beforehand by attending Studio Moth’s Wednesday evening sessions.
